Imre Kocsis is co-founder and research director at Quanopt Ltd. and an assistant lecturer at the Dept. of Measurement and Information Systems of BME. His work and research mainly focuses on measurement-based performance and availability assessment of critical (e.g. telco) cloud infrastructures and applications. At BME, he is co-lecturer of the courses „Big Data Analysis Techniques” and „Cyber-Physical Systems”. He is a co-organizer of the Budapest Users of R Network – the Hungarian R meetup group – and served as program chair for the 2015 3rd International IBM Cloud Academy Conference.
